    I recently purchased some articles of Jewelry from which summed up a total of over $100. The orders were processed the next day. said the order could take up to 7-14 days to ship. Two of the orders were shipped in less than 10 days via a 3rd party vendor but the last item was still in the processing stage after almost two weeks.     Groupon advertised microfiber sheet sets. I ordered 3 sets. I was sent 100% polyester sheets that were thin,rough and very cheap. called and emailed Groupon and they said I could return them but I lose my original shipping and have to pay for shipping to return sheets.thats over 30$ out of my pocket for something I did not order.   • Groupon unusable paid-for coupon

    I bought a coupon from groupon, went to site where I was supposed to purchase the item and was told the coupon is no longer valid. Groupon said they would fix the problem and gave me a new coupon number. I had the same problem with this coupon.     are other retailers that did business with groupon having trouble receiving their checks. it seems groupon promises you your money on the date agreed upon but the check never makes it to the mailbox. calls to your local groupon rep go unanswered. i hope you didnt invest with this company, its only a matter of time until they go belly up. would never do business againwith them.   • False Advertising

    Groupon is currently using ads touting "70% off Sushi in your area", but the fine print says that this is an "example" of a deal in your area. The fine print in the ad is VERY difficult to read and most people don't notice it. 70% off Sushi would be a GREAT deal, so many people click on it, like I did. But all it does is take you to their site where you are encouraged to sign up to receive daily Groupon offers. No Sushi though. So to me, it's false advertising, or at best, very misleading. She's been told twice now that it's in the mail, but they won't give her a tracking number or tell her where it's coming from or what company is shipping it.     GROUPON makes deals with merchants and then leaves them hanging after they have collected their monies from unsuspecting customers. They do a terrible job of explaining to unsuspecting customers the "actual deal" that they (GROUPON) made with the merchant. Most merchants only get 25% of the take and are left to provide extra customer support to answer the myriad of questions generated by the deal. Most businesses can not survive with that small margin. GROUPON refuses to send reminder emails re-stating the terms of the deal and the proper procedure to receive your 50% (or plus)... More...

    As a medial and stage hypnotist i had a log meeting with a sales person from the company GROUPON. We a ranged that four products could be offered. Special price to an event, selling stop smoking CD's,a seminar for 2012 and special group costings for a stop smoking groups . After 9 weeks and constant e mailing and conversations and broken promises we still await the PAPERS to sign .The rep. went on leave, and no one followed up anything.     I was one of the people to be ripped off over the Louise Walsh makeup brushes. Not received after a month- groupon won't refund my money! Can't get hold of anyone at Louise Walsh. Service is a joke, the whole thing is a scam... So many customers had the same problem, and in spite of the disgust it has caused to groupon customers- they STILL decided to RE-RUN the makeup brush offer again a couple of days ago in another area...     here's my batting average with buying and redeeming groupons: 1 - mexican restaurant $40 groupon- OK no problem redeeming 2 - facial groupon $75 groupon - after purchase - no details in the fine print given before the purchase - found out the service was only available on Tuesday afternoons - so take a day off to use my groupon?? sorry 3 - another facial groupon $60 - unable to book service as aesthetician has "ear problems and we don't know when she'll be back" 4 - natural grass fed beef $35 groupon - made the original order in July - still waiting for...   • Can't reach Spa for appointment

    Purchased Chelsea Day Spa deals few months back. Have been trying to call them on the number provided with the deal for over 2 mnths now but it always goes on voicemail. I emailed their customer service who insisted I kept trying to call the number as that's the only way to get an appointment using the Grouponon voucher.   • Groupon Spa deals - a big NO NO

    I have bought ample of Groupon deals. It used to be very good at the beggining and was good value for money. However, after it became popular, the service has gone downhill. Specially the Spa deals are a big NO-NO. It is next to impossible to get an appoinment. I have been calling Chelsea Spa to get an appointment for 2 months now and it always goes on voicemail.     As a regular on line Groupon user I had been very satisfied with my previous purchases however last week I purchased a deal for "Boiler servicing" at the cost of £39. On 7/9/11 the funds were taken from my account. I recieved a confirmation email from groupon advising that I should receive the usual printable voucher.     EVERYONE PLEASE TAKE NOTE- I had the same problem with this voucher. I emailed Groupom customer services and received an automated email saying a response would take up to a week. So I emailed them back saying I wanted to cancel my Groupon membership. I got an immediate response, from a human no less!     I got a call from groupon over 6 weeks ago as a merchant and was very much looking forward to working with them on a deal for my business. At first my rep was very helpful and we were able to sign a contract. After the contract was signed, my rep became very unresponsive and made a lot of excuses.     I made a dispute against "Groupon" with paypal for a full refund for "service cleaning Group" voucher, that could not be honoured. Groupon replied to me , that if I cancelled my case against them via Paypal they would refund me instantly... The fool I am, I believed them, but am still waiting on my "instant refund" ....     Purchased a discount voucher off Groupon, £30 worth meal for 2 for £10. Eaten at the beehive many times before and normally no problem booking a table or just turning up to eat. As soon as I mention Groupon voucher told need to book a month in advance for Friday or Saturday.     Groupon, Living Social and local 50% off deal sites offer customers half off or more for services/products usually from small business. However it costs the small business a hefty amount, not only are they discounting 50% of their product, but also these sites take a 50% cut! Many small business have closed, and/or gone into debt after signing with these companies.
